I. LOVE. JEANS.
Are you curious about how best to style your flared jeans? Maybe you’re stuck in a rut and thinking about getting rid of them…? STOP! Read this guide, and keep them in your wardrobe.

Flared jeans have a special place in my heart. I didn’t wear jeans in my teenage years until the age of 15, and it was when I found my first bootcut (slightly less bell bottomy) jeans in Gap that I truly fell in love with jeans. They are now a total staple in my wardrobe. What's more, flared jeans suit everyone. They suit curvy girls they suit tall men. Don’t think they don’t suit you, it’s bullshit, they do, I promise.
These below are my now perfect flares:

I am using them, along with google, for this post. They are low/mid rise from depop (originally Calvin Klein if you want similar).
Here are 5 ways to style your flares
1 Low / mid rise with a plain top. This is cute and can be done with trainers or boots. Flared jeans will always suit a plain top, and whilst I am not a huge fan of basic outfits, this one slips through! The silhouette and slightly retro style of it makes it more interesting. Here are some examples.

Lorelai in all her glory. I love this casual look and the clashing blues are really fun.

These two looks show how white tops and blue jeans are made for each other. Plus, the cut of the flares makes a plain white basic more interesting. Also these are both styled with heels which definitely dresses it up, but trainers would work too.
2 With a skirt over the top
Dresses with jeans. Perfection. See here two different lengths/ textures of skirt and how they work really well. It might not be your style but the flare of the skirt above the flare of the jean creates a tiered sihlouette which is really cool and slightly more interesting than the average jeans look.

3 With an oversized jumper
Yes. Practical, comfy, perfect.

4 With a shirt, 70s style
This one does not need justifying. It is fun and flouncy and it moves! Here are loads of examples but any shirt goes with flared jeans, whether you tie it up or tuck it in. You can throw a jumper on top or a blazer and BAM amazing outfit hello!

5 High/ mid rise with a cute top. I am not a high waist girlie, but these ladies are! And they look amazing. This is also a good laid-back going out option!
